Pay Attention To The Man Behind The Curtain
Swedish national TV station SVT has posted a short video clip of GUNS N' ROSES singer Axl Rose's dressing room and backstage area recorded on June 12, 2010 when the band performed at the Sweden Rock Festival in Sölvesborg in southern Sweden. Watch the clip below.
Want to know what's on GUNS N' ROSES' tour rider? The contract for the band's September 23 concert in Belgrade, Serbia requested that Rose's dressing room be all black and decorated with fresh roses, with champagne, vodka, tequila, red wine and beer available in the room. The room was also to include a bed, a sofa, a coffee table, six lamps and a rug.
Rose also wanted fresh roses, 18 each of red and white, in the band's dressing room as well, along with "black napkins, a blender, a juice maker, a tea kettle, paper tissues, 18 glasses for wine and champagne, 15 glasses for stiff drinks, 40 paper glasses, six cutlery sets, two bottle openers and corkscrews, as well as one large and two smaller bread knives." There were also precise instructions for what food and beverages should have been made available.
