You've read about the Toronto Film Festival premiere of The Promise: The Making of Darkness on the Edge of Town, which documents the recording of Bruce Springsteen's classic album. Now you can watch the HBO's trailer for the film, which the network is airing October 7th. (The Darkness deluxe edition that's out November 16 will also include it.) "The footage is so great because the cameraman is being completely ignored," The Promise director Thom Zimny told Rolling Stone . "There's no narration, and you literally see the camera get out of the way of the band at times. The biggest treat, however, is seeing the working relationship between Bruce, the band and [producer] Jon Landau."
